An annual review in about 25 minutes
Six short parts, once a year, with a short video before each. It saves as you go. Your attorney reads what you flagged and calls if something needs a look. Nothing you do changes your plan by itself.
For families
Legacy Guard comes to you through your estate planning attorney. It takes about 25 minutes a year to keep your plan current, and as long as you like to leave your family the stories only you can tell.

The problem
You signed a trust, put the binder on a shelf, and life kept moving. A grandchild was born. You moved. An account was opened and never retitled. Most plans are out of date within three years, and nobody notices until the day it matters.
Why plans go staleThe other problem
Nobody fights over the brokerage account the way they fight over the Bible or the story nobody wrote down. The voice, the way you told it, the thing you wanted them to know about money or faith or the pocketknife: that is what disappears first.
How to record a story they will watchWhat you get

Six short parts, once a year, with a short video before each. It saves as you go. Your attorney reads what you flagged and calls if something needs a look. Nothing you do changes your plan by itself.
Your signed documents, a picture of how your plan works, every person you named and what their job means, and the dates ahead that matter. A heads up email so the people you named know it.
The hardest part of a story is starting. The guide asks something you can answer in a minute, learns what you avoid, and gets to know you as the stories add up. Your firm never sees the guide.

Write it down, record your voice, record a video, add a photo and say what is happening in it, or upload something you already have. Up to 1080p video, with a device check before you begin.

A letter to someone you love, sealed until the moment you choose. Now, or after you are gone. Nobody reads it before then, not even the firm.

Name the people who receive your stories and letters, write each of them a message they read first, and choose what goes to whom. They never need an account.
The guide
By email, as often as you like, never in your quiet hours. Answer in writing, in your voice, on video, or with a photo. Ask me later is always allowed.
Your guide asks
What do you want your grandchildren to know about money?
The privacy promise
Your stories, photos, recordings, letters, the people you chose, and the guide's questions are private to the one person who made them. Not your spouse, even though you share a plan. Not your attorney. Not Legacy Guard.
Every story is scrambled in your browser before it is saved, with a key only your stories password can open. If someone copied the whole database, they would have locked boxes and no keys. How the security works, including its honest limits.

The recipient moment
When the time comes, each person you chose gets an email with a private link. They type the email you had for them. Then they read your message first, in your words, before anything else. Then each story and letter, in the order you chose, with the note you wrote about it.
Save everything builds one file they keep. They have two years, with a reminder at month 20. They never need an account, and the firm never sees who they are.

About 25 minutes for most families. It has six short parts, it saves as you go, and you can stop and come back. Your attorney reads what you flagged and calls you if something needs a look.
No. The Plan side is shared by your household and your firm. The Stories side is private to the one person who made it. Your spouse never sees your stories, letters, recipients, or the guide's questions, not even a count.
You choose. Add recipients by name and email, then for each story or letter decide whether they receive it now or after you are gone. After you are gone is the default. Nothing is ever delivered on a timer or because you went quiet.
No. Each recipient gets an email with a private link. To open it they type the email address or phone number you had on file for them. Three wrong tries lock the link.
You can choose a new one while signed in. Your old password stops working at once and nothing you made is lost. The reset is written to an audit log that cannot be edited.
Your household enters Kept mode for two years: everything saved stays readable, exportable, and deliverable, and nothing new can be added. Reactivate brings Complete back. A one time 20 year hold for $199 keeps everything held whatever happens to the plan.
Yes, on every plan. Export everything builds one archive with your plan summary, documents, stories, letters, recordings, and photos. It is built on your own device and works without Legacy Guard.
If your firm does not use it yet, send them this page or ask them to request a demo. Firms pay nothing to join.
