About Legacy Guard
A plan is only as good as the year it was last reviewed.
Estate planning attorneys do careful work, and then the binder goes on a shelf. Children are born, people move, accounts open, trustees age. Within a few years the plan describes a family that no longer exists. Legacy Guard was built to fix that one problem, and then it grew a second half.
The first half
Keep the plan current
A short review once a year, under the firm's own name, that a family actually finishes. Flags that tell the attorney what changed. Plan Health that says how current the plan is. Law updates by state. The people in the plan, told that they are in it.
The second half
Keep the stories safe
Families lose the voice before they lose the money. We built a place for the stories, letters, recordings, and photos that would otherwise disappear, with a guide that asks one question at a time, and we built it so that nobody but the person who made them can read them. Not the spouse, not the firm, not us.

Families, often a married couple over 55, who signed an estate plan and want it to keep working. Estate planning law firms who want their clients back in front of them every year and who would rather not hold anyone's private stories.
Legacy Guard reaches families only through their attorney. The plan belongs to the family and its firm. The stories belong to one person. The company that runs the app sees contact details and plan types, and nothing else.
Our commitments
- We never read a client's stories. The encryption makes this true, not just a promise.
- We never see a client's plan. The database refuses to hand the platform those rows.
- We never deliver anything by a timer, by silence, or on one person's say so. Two verifiers, a waiting period, and an audit log, every time.
- We never sell or share data. There is nothing to sell: we hold contact details and plan types, and the rest is sealed.
- We never pay a firm or take a referral fee. Money only moves from a client or a firm to Legacy Guard.
- Your information is yours. Export everything works on every plan and the archive works without us.
- We write in plain words. Every rule in the product is explained somewhere on this site.
